GTA VI mod support has not been confirmed. There are no verified installation instructions yet.
Installing GTA 6 mods
GTA VI has not been announced for PC. Installation steps, file locations and required tools are still unknown.
Instructions for GTA V do not apply to GTA VI. Check that a guide names the correct game and version before following it.
Modding tools
There is no confirmed list of GTA VI modding tools. Common tools used for PC mods include:
- Mod loaders — load modified or additional files.
- Script hooks — let scripts interact with the game.
- Mod managers — help install, organise and remove mods.
- Asset tools — open or edit models, textures and other game files.
Check the developer’s release page for supported games and versions. A tool made for GTA V is not automatically compatible with GTA VI.
Will GTA V mods work?
Compatibility has not been confirmed. Scripts, models and other files may need changes to work in GTA VI.
A “GTA 6 graphics” mod made for GTA V is still a GTA V mod. Read the supported game and version carefully, and use the download checklist before opening a file.
FiveM and online play
FiveM supports GTA V and GTA V Enhanced. GTA VI support has not been announced.
Check Rockstar’s mod policy and the multiplayer service’s rules before using mods online.
